Q: Does RockstarTraining.com get any part of the lesson fee?
A: No! RockstarTraining.com is here to help you grow your music instruction business, and make more money doing what you love...Not to share in the profits from your labor! You keep 100% of your lesson fees!
Q: Do you handle payments for the lessons?
A: No, we do not collect any payments for the lessons. You facilitate that directly with your new student.
Q: Do I determine my own rates for my lessons?
A: Yes. You make all the decisions concerning rates for your business. We are always here to help, and you can get some great tips and ideas from other successful Instructors by joining our LinkedIn group “Growing Your Music Instruction Business”. Click here to join!
Q: How will I know how much traffic I’m getting from RockstarTraining.com?
A: When logged in, you’ll have access to a ‘Profile Management’ tab that allows you to see how many times your profile was viewed, and how many messages from potential students you’ve received. Please note, that you’re more than welcome to have links to a personal website within your profile... That would be additional traffic that is not counted in those numbers.
Q: Will I be contacted directly by the potential student? Or does RockstarTraining.com act as a “middle man” for signing up lessons?
A: The student will contact you directly using the messaging service linked to your profile on our site. We don’t want to hinder you from setting up new students as quickly as possible, so we leave that to you.
Q: Does RockstarTraining.com have facilities available to offer lessons?
A: No
Q: How long of a commitment do I have to make if I want to sign up?
A: Your RockstarTraining.com profile is cancel-able at any time. There is no contractual commitment! We hope to generate many new students for you, and remain a part of your marketing and advertising for a long time. Even in the rare event that you only get a few students from our service, one or two lessons should pay for the entire year. If you’d like to discuss ways to enhance your profile to obtain maximum exposure, please email us at info@RockstarTraining.com.
Q: Do I have to accept every student that requests a lesson?
A; No, we are here to help you achieve MAXIMUM exposure for your business, however, you can run your music instruction business as you see fit. Accept those who you feel you can help, and are a good match. Be up front with anyone who you feel you may not be able to help based on their goals, requests, style of music, etc.
Q: What should my Profile have on it?
The profiles are completely customizable. Be creative, and be sure to paint a good picture of your style of teaching, learning atmosphere, skill set, etc. The profiles that get the most attention are those with detailed bio’s, pictures, and video’s. Q: How do I upload videos onto my profile?
A: Using an existing video or going out to make a new video of you performing is one of the best ways to attract students to you! Simply upload your video on www.youtube.com then follow the instructions when editing your profile. It’s as simple as copying and pasting the URL for the video!
Q: What if I’m having trouble creating or editing my profile?
A: Please email us at info@RockstarTraining.com with the issue you’re having, and we’ll reply ASAP with detailed instructions.
Q: How many genres and instruments can I list in my profile?
A: You have the ability to select up to 3 genres and 3 instruments per profile. We do this so that the students get the most accurate search results. We suggest you select your best 3 and then list any additional ones that you want to highlight in the description on your profile page. You will show up when students search by those keywords.
Q: If I have a question that was not answered here, what should I do?
A: Please email us at info@RockstarTraining.com and we’ll be happy to answer any other questions you may have.

A: Our goal at RockstarTraining.com is to connect you with the GREATEST amount of students possible! We are marketing experts and business people, and want everyone that uses our service to receive a significant profit in return.
In most cases, a few new students a year should cover the cost of your profile...However, we aim to generate MUCH MORE new business for you than just breaking even! A: No, RockstarTraining.com does not take any commissions from lessons you generate from our site.

Q: What if I want to cancel my subscription?
A: You can cancel anytime with no penalties!
Q: How many school locations can I add to my account?
A: As many as you would like! RockstarTraining.com charges per location. For Schools with over 10 locations, please contact us for special pricing at info@RockstarTraining.com.
Q: How many profiles can I have under each location?
A: Unlimited! You can create a unique profile for each instructor at that location, and that is all included in your low monthly subscription fee...BIG exposure, little price :)
Q: Does RockstarTraining.com coordinate scheduling?
A: No. RockstarTraining.com is here to simply connect you to the greatest amount of students possible! This allows you to sign up students to your program without any interference from us. We let you do what you do best - Sign up a new student, and turn them into a Rockstar!

A: We engage in extensive advertising efforts to make sure your business gets noticed. These include, but are not limited to search engine optimization, PLM campaigns, extensive social media presences, classified postings, events and trade shows, and more!
